Boys And Girls Together
Boys and Girls at the same boarding school is just asking for trouble, right?
There are many coed boarding schools, even some military schools are coed. Relax parents, the students are housed separately. These schools not only provide the best in education, they have a strict moral code. Most boarding schools have a more rigorous code of conduct than public schools.
In addition to the normal core subjects, there are also sex education, and relationship classes. The students will be very busy with their courses, sports, and extracurricular activities. There are house mothers in every dormitory and faculty members are easily accessible.
Many boarding schools that house both sexes have students as young as fifth or sixth graders. Safety is stressed in all boarding school situations and supervision is constant. Does this mean nothing bad can happen? Of course not, but it is much less likely in a controlled environment.
Benefits are small class sizes and the opportunity to work small groups on projects and activities. Students will learn to get along with all kinds of people, and that's what life is like outside of school.
The main goal of any boarding school is to provide an exceptional education and preparation for college and for life. So, coed or single sex school, it's up to you.
